How to open an account with Skilling

Once you have found a ROBO that is in line with your risk appetite and your personal goals, you open an account with Skilling by filling out the registration form that you access by following the link “Open account with 4X ROBO”.
When you register as a customer with Skilling, a standard Skilling account is automatically opened which you can use to trade yourself. For those of you who want to follow one of our robots, you ask Skilling to open an MT4 account that makes it possible to Copy Trade and follow a ROBO.
You start by pressing the “sign up” button and fill in your email address and desired password in the registration form:
Once you have completed your registration, you will immediately receive an email from Skilling where you must verify your email address by clicking on the link in the email. Click on the link before continuing with the registration process. Verify your email before proceeding with the registration process.
Verification procedure
To verify who you are and where you live, you need two documents unless you are from Norway or Sweden and have a Bank ID. For all others, you must upload the following documents:
- Valid identification (passport, driver’s license, or ID card)
- Confirmation of residential address (invoice for electricity, gas, water, or landline, not older than 3 months, or bank account statement, not older than 6 months).
Take a picture of identification and a document confirming the residential address. The document with full name, address, and date must be unmistakable. Make sure ALL 4 corners of the documents are visible. Once you have completed the verification process, you will receive an email with a login to your BackOffice, where you can make a deposit and follow your ROBO.
Open account to follow ROBO
To follow ROBO, you need an MT4 account for each of the robots you want to follow. You can choose to open this account yourself or you can ask Skilling to do it for you.
If you want to open an MT4 account yourself, remember to choose the following type of account as the picture illustrates from your Skilling Backoffice:
Or to open such an account, send an email to support@skilling.com and ask them to open an MT4 account for you and which ROBO you want to follow: For example: “I want to open an MT4 account to follow ROBO XS with 30 % Performance Fee”
or when you have opened an account yourself:
“I want my MT4 account number: 123123 to follow ROBO XS with 30 % Performance Fee” if you have opened an account. You will then receive an email from Skilling with a trading “power of attorney” (LPOA) which you digitally sign and return to Skilling to confirm that you wish to follow a ROBO with your MT4 account.
Once you or Skilling has opened your MT4, you can log in to your Backoffice where you now have 2 accounts, a standard Skilling account, and an MT4 account. Select your MT4 account and press deposit and deposit money via debit card or bank transfer. If you choose to transfer via bank, click on the bank transfer icon, and you will immediately be able to see what payment information you need to enter the transfer in your online bank. The money is normally in the account with Skilling the next day and in any case, you will be up and running quickly with ROBO.
If it turns out that you have transferred money in the wrong currency or to the wrong account at your Backoffice, this is easy to correct. From your Backoffice, you can transfer money between your internal accounts and you can deposit and make withdrawals to your bank anytime.

Verifiserings prosedyre
For å verifisere deg trenger du to dokumenter:
- Gyldig legitimasjon (pass eller førerkort)
- Bekreftelse av bosteds adresse
Bekreftelse av bostedsadresse kan være en faktura du har mottatt på strøm, gass, vann eller fasttelefon (ikke eldre enn 3 måneder) eller bank-kontoutskrift (ikke eldre enn 6 måneder).
- Ta et bilde av legitimasjonen din. Sørg for at alle 4 hjørner av legitimasjonen er synlig
- Du kan også ta bilde av gyldig bosteds adresse, en faktura med fullt navn, adresse og dato må være umiskjennelig. Sørg for at ALLE 4 hjørner av dokumentene er merkbare. Dokumentene laster du opp til din BackOffice.
For personer i Norge og Sverige kan åpne konto og verifisere seg hos Skilling med Bank-ID. Dette medfører at man slipper å laste opp kopi av gyldig legitimasjon.
Åpne konto
For å kunne følge en ROBO må du åpne en MT4-konto for hver og en av robotene du ønsker å følge.
Når du har fullført verifiserings prosessen, vil du motta en epost med innlogging til Skilling.com. Logg inn og opprett en MT4 konto for hver av robotene du ønsker å følge:
Når du oppretter MT4 konto, husk å velge plattform, kontotype og valuta som bildet nedenfor:
1) Plattform: MT4
2) Kontotype: Real
3) Valuta: EUR
Når du har åpnet konto, kan du foreta innskudd direkte til den enkelte konto:
Innskudd & uttak
For å unngå unødvendige gebyrer, anbefales det at du overfører innskuddet i EUR om du velger bank overføring som betalings valg. Det er fordi EUR er tilsvarende valuta som din trading konto.
Hvordan følge en ROBO?
Når du har åpnet konto og foretatt ditt innskudd, må du koble din konto til den roboten du vil følge (Copy Trade).
Dette gjør du ved å sende en epost til support@skilling.com med info om hvilken robot din konto skal følge. F.eks.:
“Jeg ønsker at min MT4 konto nr. 1234567 skal følge ROBO XS”
Du vil deretter motta en epost fra Skilling med en trading fullmakt som du signerer digitalt og returnerer til Skilling for å bekrefte at du ønsker å følge en valgt ROBO.
